Some growth seen but alas, many uncolored colonies:
Figure 5a. I'm glad that all five plates show some growth though colonies are not very strongly colored yet. E. coli seem to grow more slowly on solid media than in liquid culture.Figure 5b. The yellow bacteria are more visible against a dark background.
